The famous pair is back on the red carpet on a high note at last after sitting out last year’s bash. Priyanka was turning heads in a custom polka-dot suit dress by Olivier Rousteing for Balmain, featuring a head-turning train and an emerald choker that outshone everything else. Nick’s energy was as crisp as a black-and-white Balmain suit that presented her ensemble without being overwhelming.

A match made to measure; both equally and fully committed to the 2025 Met Gala theme of “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style” in a perfect combination of epic classic Hollywood glamour and just straight-up refinement and sophistication. Their chemistry? No question. Their swag? Perfect.

Is it any surprise they are one of the best power couples of the Met Gala 2025? When love and style collide, it is a win for the red carpet.  

Pharrell Williams and Helen Lasichanh  

Pharrell Williams arrived, as Co-Chair of the Met Gala 2025, not with an idea but unmistakably well-dressed, and he was not alone. Williams arrived with his constantly stylish partner, Helen Lasichanh, and they were the embodiment of relaxed cool. Pharrell sported a crisp white jacket, topped with a snowy white shirt and bolo tie, making bold work of tailoring and tip-honoring directly to this year’s theme.

Helen kept his energy in her head-to-toe all-black Louis Vuitton leather bodysuit and sheer tights, once again demonstrating that she never must do the most to make an impact. There was no flash, only intention, poise, and synergy.

Pharrell and Helen presented a masterclass in elegance and nuance as a Met Gala 2025 power couple and offered one final lesson: sometimes the best flex is simply showing up, elegantly, and with the knowledge that you run the room 

Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union 

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade took a couple of coordinating styles to a whole new level at the Met Gala 2025 as they floated down the daffodil carpet, dripping with the presence that will make a room quiet down. Gabrielle was in modern glamour, wearing a soft black strapless evening gown by Prada, and if that was not enough, she had a custom white train following her every glide, like a stage whisper.

Floral elements were worked into both her hair and her dress and added a dramatic touch to Gabrielle’s extravagant pointed ruby piece by Tiffany to complete her ensemble.

Dwyane stood next to her in a satin white tailcoat with a teal jacquard vest; the traditional black trousers sure were no hindrance – dressed with avant-garde chrome barbed mani (added dramatic flair at his fingertips; reminded him unashamedly that he repurposes drama). They not only fit the theme as a couple; they were!  

Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz  

In the final statement, Alicia strutted her fitted looks,  dramatic, air-turned puffer full-length shawl billowing out like a cape. She finished the regal look with a headpiece made out of beaded fabric, infused with cultural significance and royal style! Swizz matched her energy with a fresh, sharply cut suit that danced the line of sophisticated bravado.

Together, they offered a brave combination of high fashion and personal identity that a lot of audience members received positively, as well as a lot of noted boldness in the use of color, texture, and cultural iconography. Their presence, synchronicity, and assertions of fashion flair unquestionably positioned them throughout the night in one of the enduring and special Met Gala 2025 power couple pairings for the ages.  

Colman Domingo and Raúl Domingo 

They showed us that flair and dramatic presentation go hand-in-hand. Style trailblazer that he is, Colman joined the Met Gala 2025 powerful couples list on a dignified silk blue cape worn over a clean, fitting Valentino jacket.

Standing alongside him, Raúl stole the spotlight in a dazzling purple tuxedo that shone brightly in the light—and the fashion fans’ hearts everywhere. They combined theatrical drama with closeness, reminding us that style can be bold as well as intimate and personal.  

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner 

They provided a touch of modern romance to the discussion of powerful couples at the Met Gala 2025. Dua, the fashion chameleon, stunned in a feather-laden black Chanel dress with a vintage glam and dazzle, as Turner kept it sleek and ageless in his black tuxedo.

He gave Dua’s style the focus but did not let it overshadow him. The couple had a cute charm, a duo, and a quite chic sartorial matchiness that was simply cool, and made them one of the more memorable couples of the night.  

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens 

They wore sporty chic and coupled it with sartorial swagger, and aren’t they together one of the more memorable pairs of the Met Gala 2025? Simone replaced her gold medals with a distinct metallic cobalt-blue minidress, featuring a dramatic train that complemented her bold beauty and strength with each step.

Owens matched her with suave sophistication in an all-white suit, topped with a black cane that lent his look an old-school accent. They had confidence, color, and a couple of goals together that were worthy of the daffodil carpet spotlight. 

This year’s Met Gala theme may have been rooted in ‘superfine’, but the couples who dominated the red carpet had something even more magical- real chemistry, shared vision, and bold confidence. Whether long-term couples, fresh duos, or new flames, they all remembered one thing: fashion is not just what you wear- it’s what you wear with, and how you walk in it. So, who owned the night?
